RiverStone International to acquire Catalina Insurance Ireland

RiverStone International has signed an agreement with Catalina Group to buy Catalina Insurance Ireland, a deal it said broadens its European reach.

Catalina Insurance Ireland is an Irish insurance company regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland with two main portfolios: a German medical malpractice book and a UK motor portfolio, with total reserves of around $350mn.
