Insured losses from Central Canada storms estimated at C$300mn: IBC

Summer storms in Central Canada caused more than C$300mn ($224mn) in insured losses, according to preliminary estimates from Catastrophe Indices and Quantification Inc and released Tuesday by the Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC).
