London intermediary United Insurance Brokers (UIB) has entered the Peruvian market through local brokerages South Re and Jef Corredores de Seguros.

Earlier in September, this publication revealed that UIB was in advanced discussions to take over the Peruvian reinsurance broker South Re in a bid to grow in the region.
