Hurricane Lidia is expected to be at or near “major hurricane strength” when it makes landfall on the West-Central Coast of Mexico, according to the National Hurricane Center (NHC).

As of 12pm MDT, Lidia was a Category 2 hurricane located 155 miles or 260 kilometers southwest of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
