AM Best has assigned a financial strength rating of A, and a long-term issuer credit rating of A to Beazley Excess and Surplus Insurance (BESI).

The outlook for the newly formed subsidiary of London-based Beazley Holdings’ FSR is stable, while the outlook for its long-term ICR is positive, AM Best said.
