Carbon credit insurer Oka has been granted in-principle approval by Lloyd’s to launch a syndicate-in-a-box (SIAB) managed by Asta.

Oka Syndicate 1922 will commence underwriting from the beginning of 2024, offering coverage to protect against buyer-side carbon credit risks, including financial, reputational, regulatory and climate exposures.
