Vesttoo says creditors’ move for early termination ‘disrupts its ability’ to restructure

Embattled ILS platform Vesttoo is opposing a motion by the committee of unsecured creditors in its Chapter 11 case seeking early termination of the company’s exclusive right to propose a plan of reorganization, saying the move “disrupts” its ability to restructure.

The Israel-based InsurTech said the motion seeks to deprive it of its statutory rights, adding that the committee is ignoring indications of interest in Vesttoo’s proven technology, solid business plan and experienced team.
