Cyber insurers must understand the underlying risks and challenges faced by their clients rather than just look at underwriting profitability, Resilience CEO and co-founder Vishaal Hariprasad said.

Speaking about his early experiences in talking to established insurers during the start-up phase of Resilience, Hariprasad told Inside P&C: “Underwriting risk didn't matter because you could just make it a balance-sheet exercise.”
