Everest Group CEO Juan Andrade said that pricing for non-cat property reinsurance is getting to a “very adequate place” compared to a year ago, signaling that the company is looking to grow in that area.

During an investor day event on Tuesday, the chief executive noted that, 18 months ago, the company was in the midst of a shift in focus from non-cat pro rata property deals in favor of property XoL contracts.
