Argo Group has hired former SiriusPoint executive Ari Chester as head of specialty property and programs and promoted David Corry and Greg Chilson to heads of casualty and professional lines, respectively.

The appointments come with the completion of Argo’s acquisition by Brookfield Reinsurance in $1.1bn transaction, announced earlier this morning.
