US property market headed towards flat rate environment in 2024: Aon’s Miller

The US property market is stabilizing to a “flat rate environment”, driven by competition as insurers seek growth after six years of getting their books of business in order, according to Rick Miller, leader of the US property practice at Aon Commercial Risk Solutions.

“We're certainly much more optimistic than we've been at any point probably over the last five years,” he told this publication in an exclusive interview ahead of Aon’s annual property symposium that started in Orlando, Florida, yesterday.
