WTW has recruited Danielle Lombardo as chair of its real estate, hospitality and leisure division within the corporate risk and broking (CRB) North America unit.
Lombardo joins WTW from Lockton, where she was a partner and chair of the brokerage’s global real estate practice.
Before that, she was a VP at Marsh for over a year after a two-year stint at Willis Insurance Services. She has also been a frequent guest expert on CNBC and has been interviewed by Bloomberg and The Washington Post on issues regarding commercial real estate.
“Danielle brings a specialized expertise that perfectly aligns with the industry-focused approach within CRB NA,” said Michael Chang, WTW’s head of corporate risk & broking in North America.
WTW real estate leader Jimmy Martuscelli added, “Danielle brings the ability to leverage deep technical knowledge to deliver specialized thinking to clients, which aligns with the CRB NA strategy.”
WTW has been expanding its specialty and regional operations with key hires in recent weeks.
Earlier this month, this publication revealed that the company hired Rupert Mackenzie, Marsh’s energy and power practice leader in the Americas.
