Allstate pegs October cat losses at $226mn post-tax

The estimate includes $102mn from Milton and $114mn Helene development.

Allstate has announced $286mn of pre-tax cat losses, or $226mn post-tax, for October.

The estimate includes a pre-tax loss of $102mn for Hurricane Milton, and unfavorable reserve re-estimates of $114mn, pre-tax, for Hurricane Helene.
